Tips for B movie characters

This weekend I turned on the Sci-fi channel and left it on while I got some stuff done. B rated monster movies make good background noise. But even though I was mostly ignoring said monster movies I did notice a few things:

- If you're walking with a group of friends in a dark scary forest and one of them turns around and says "Hay, where did everyone else go?" That's your cue to run.

- I don't care how much you need the money, don't steal from a wizard.

- Never trust the old guy who appears out of the forest promising to lead you out.

- Beautiful, mysterious women are always trouble.

- Always be respectful of your elders. Just because they look old and wrinkly doesn't mean that they can't wipe the floor with you.

- If a local tells you "oh, that's a bad place" change your travel plans and don't go there.

- If your friend runs back to camp out of breath and wide eyes saying there are monsters in the woods, don't laugh at him/her and got out there just to prove them wrong.

- If a stranger is looking for new companions to go hiking with, find out what what happened to his previous companions before agreeing to join him.

- If it seems too easy it's always a trap.

And don't forget one of the key tips--if you want a little smoochie time with your sweetie, you will be killed.

Great list! And what is it with people in a house tiptoeing into whatever room they just heard the Really Creepy Noise coming from? I always wanna scream at them, "NO!! Don't go into the dark basement!"

@ Pam- lol! That's right. Keep your eyes open and your pants zipped ;-)

@ Marilyn- The only thing worse then that is when they find some creepy alien "thing" and, inevitably, some idiot has to poke it. Seriously people *shakes head*
